Snake plants (Dracaena trifasciata) is a tropical plant that loves the sun too. It is native to west Africa. They are very hardy. It spreads through a rhizome root system. These plants will thrive inside as a houseplant and can also live outside in Florida as a landscaping piece. They can be planted into the soil or remain in containers. The plant is less likely to spread if in a container.
